Metamorphosis, (2025)

The series Metamorphosis is a documentation of transformation, exploring the conflicts of visibility and transgender identity, moving from transparency, to over-complication, before finding clarity and figuration within a new form. Using techniques of painted developer and double exposure, the series interrogates the tension between a desire to be seen and vulnerable but the inherent urge to hide those parts of yourself away once you are exposed. Metamorphosis consists of seven gelatin silver prints ranging from 8 × 10 in. to 4 × 5 in.
